From a young age, I have been captivated by the world of print and graphics. My fascination with color and visual storytelling were introduced to me by my father (John Garbo) who worked for Pacific Lithograph in San Francisco. Those early years I remember turning the pages of many coffee table books which were published for the iconic photographer Ansel Adams.

Understanding print production from a young age led me to pursue a career in graphic arts. I studied Graphic Communication (GrC) at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and earned a Bachelor of Science degree (‘99) before returning to San Francisco to work at Watermark Press. 

As the internet age blossomed in Silicon Valley, it was apparent that technology would re-shape the graphics industry, allowing customization and branding opportunities previously not available.
